National Flag Football is a non-contact, recreational league open to boys and girls age 4 through 8th Grade with locations throughout the metro Denver, Colorado area.
With National Flag Football, the focus is on having fun. We believe every child is a winner, no matter the outcome of the game. Healthy competition is promoted, rather than the high-pressure, “win-at-all-costs” mentality so prevalent in youth sports leagues today.
Being a community based recreational league with an “Everyone Plays” policy, children of all sizes, athletic abilities, and experience are encouraged to participate in the action. Because flag football is non-contact, you don’t have to be the biggest, fastest or most skilled kid to play a big role on a flag football team.
We know kids want to play on teams with their friends, so we do our best to accommodate “buddy requests”, as well as teaming up kids from the same school to help foster and develop new friendships.

National Flag Football strives to create and maintain a positive, no-pressure atmosphere in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Through great organization, communication and convenience for parents and kids, we aim  to provide an exceptional sports experience that will have parents raving and players returning season after season.
Our Philosophy
- Everyone Plays - Kids have more fun when they are in the game, so we mandate that every player gets to play the entire game on either offense or defense
- Positive Coaching - This builds a positive team spirit. We train coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive help and encouragement to players of all abilities
- Open Registration - Our programs are open to all kids ages 4 through 8th Grade who want to play flag football in a fun focused, organized league environment. Interest and enthusiasm are the only requirements for playing.
- Good Sportsmanship - We create a positive environment based on mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. All of our programs are designed to instill the values of good sportsmanship and teamwork
- Player Development - All players, regardless of ability, should be able to develop their athletic skills to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team

In addition to having great fun playing, kids are taught the fundamentals of the game, improve their athletic skills, stay active, and learn important life lessons and skills such as good sportsmanship and teamwork to help them succeed both on and off the field. Taking part in organized sports can help kids do better in school, have better interpersonal skills, be more team-oriented, healthier, more confident and make smarter life choices.
